Bruce M. Palmer, MD
Bruce was born in Phoenix, AZ, August 24, 1970. He graduated from Cortez High School in 1988. He attended
Northern Arizona University (NAU)
in Flagstaff for one year before serving a two-year volunteer mission in the
Texas San Antonio Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints. After that he returned to Arizona and NAU where
he met a beautiful girl named Debbie McDaniel and married her. About a year
later Bruce, Debbie, and Lea moved to Tucson, AZ, where Bruce finished his
Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing at The University or
Arizona. After working as a nurse for a year and a half
in the Neonatal ICU at University Medical Center in Tucson, Bruce
joined the US Air
Force, and we (Bruce, Debbie, Lea, & Robby) moved to his first duty station at
Lackland Air Force Base in San
Antonio, TX, where he worked as a Staff Nurse in the NICU at Wilford Hall
Medical Center . In
2002, we (Bruce,
Debbie, Lea, Robby, & David) moved to
Gaithersburg, MD to go to medical school at Uniformed Services University of the Health
Sciences in Bethesda, MD. In May,2006, Bruce
graduated with his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) and promoted to a Captain in the
USAF. In April, 2006 we (Bruce, Debbie, Lea, Robby, David, & Cato) moved to Dayton,Ohio where Bruce is currently stationed
at
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base . He is in his residency training in the combined military/civilian General
Surgery residency based here in Dayton. In his "spare time" Bruce likes to spend
time with his beautiful wife and children. He is also currently active in church
as an assistant advisor to the Priest's
quorum (16-17 yr-old young men).
